Basecamp Resort Mweya is a comfortable safari lodge located on the beautiful Mweya Peninsula inside Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda. We were created with one main goal: to give travelers a peaceful, friendly, and affordable place to enjoy the beauty of the Kazinga Channel and the wildlife around it.

Our Story

Our journey began with a love for Uganda’s wildlife and a desire to create a lodge where guests can enjoy nature without stress or distraction. The Mweya Peninsula is known for its amazing views and rich animal life, and we wanted to build a place that fits naturally into this landscape.
